Lecture at OAF, Oslo
As part of the Söta Bror series, Ductus was invited to present at the Oslo Association of Architects. The lecture gave insight into the studio’s approach to architecture and design – spanning housing, furniture, and spatial installations – and reflected on the influence of Sigurd Lewerentz.
A central theme was the notion of Welthaltigkeit – a design attitude focused on spatial clarity, presence, and connection to context. Architecture understood not as signature, but as structure that relates to place, use, and cultural continuity.
Lewerentz’s work was presented as an example of this approach – architecture that remains grounded, enduring, and connected to the world.
