FYR is a portable lamp based on a found object.
The original prototype was made from a candle holder discovered at a recycling centre in Stockholm.
The form was kept. A hole was drilled. A cable added. A 3D-printed head placed on top. The prototype worked. Different versions were turned from various European woods.
The final version is lathe-turned from solid wood – clean, tactile, and built to last.
FYR is dimmable and portable.
A system of reuse, redesign, and reduction.
