Together with Specific Generic, a private country house originally built in the 1980s was carefully renovated and reorganized. Located in a alpine setting, the house reflects a layered construction history shaped by the former builder-owner, who incorporated architectural elements collected over decades—among them historic doors, cupboards, and a complete room interior.

The house is structured into three residential units: a studio apartment, a two-story apartment with three rooms, and the main family dwelling. All units are arranged around a shared courtyard paved with cobblestones, creating a central communal space.

The recent intervention includes a panoramic glass element that opens the main living area toward the mountain landscape. Additional measures such as new wall finishes and bright, glazed doors establish connections to the surrounding garden.

The bathrooms feature stone elements, while the master bedroom is lined with steel panels. These additions reference the material palette of the original 1980s construction and continue its architectural language.

A selected collection of furniture and artworks supports the spatial atmosphere and provides zones for gathering and retreat.
