The project involves the development of a communal housing estate. Four buildings are arranged along the contour lines of the site. At the center, a shared pavilion with a fireplace forms the focal point, with the buildings grouped around it in a loose arc.

Each pair of houses shares one access route. Open stairwells connect the buildings with their surroundings and encourage casual encounters. The kitchens of the apartments are oriented toward the stair landings, allowing for visual contact and informal interaction between neighbors.

Projections and recesses in the buildings create diverse outdoor areas and individual floor plans with niches and corners. Eight distinctive timber-constructed balcony towers define the appearance of the façades. Large skylights extend the usability of the attic apartments.

The primary façades are made of monolithic single-stone masonry, finished with mineral-based plaster and paint. The vertical and horizontal formwork of the timber balconies is painted in the same color as the façades.
